Questioning if anyone has added freon to a Marvel ice maker. We have a business and we service many products. In addition,my husband is an electrician and plumber by trade. He installs many kitchens- including Miele appliances.
Our Marvel ice maker stopped producing ice. He cleaned the entire unit, checked there parts, checked the hose line, drain etc. everything seemed fine. Started it up again and it did produce ice, but very slowly. If this could possibly be a "freon issue" is it something that I would need to have a specific Marvel technician come out to the house? When I call, the service call is $100.00 to come out, check parts needed. If it's a "freon" issue, the lady on the phone said, "Oh, that's someone else you have to call. ???

any suggestions?

thanks for your time.
