Dishwasher is between 1 and 2 years old. For some time have had occasional error message with LEDs flashing for "power failure" but could not find cause. Then recently the error became consistent every drying cycle. Investigated door switch and found it had overheated badly causing the plastic insulation around the connectors to melt and clearly this was potentially a fire risk. See image attached.

Replaced switch (part # 5304500348) and push on connectors successfully, but concerned the quality of the switch may mean a repeat in the future. Switch may be underrated for current drain with heating element on.
