Hello, I have a Kenmore washer, model #110.28803890, that has been making some noise lately. Occasionally in the spin cycle it would make an intermittent squealing noise. Tonight it was making a bit of a different noise in the agitation cycle and then just quit. There was a nasty smell afterwards and I fear it may be the motor. Am wondering if the trans went out and possibly took the motor with it. Below is a video of the noise it was making just before it died. Can someone advise? Thanks!!!

Looks like the motor is not fried. Got up this morning, as I needed to get the water out of the tub. Out of curiosity turned the switch to the drain cycle and it spun and drained. Just need a professional opinion on what is causing the nasty sound coming out of it in the wash cycle. The agitation is very poor too. Thanks!!!
