So..... the clicking sound only occurs if the power is on. No clicking if manually turning the rotor

Ok then when you reinstall the stator and run the machine is when the sound occurs? 1. verify the stator is installed flush (not higher on one side or the other) 2. verify there is no debris on any of the magnets on the rotor (screws, paper clips etc) 3. verify the wires are plugged in and seated properly on the stator after reinstalling and verifying the above run a test to see if problem continues

Yes...after the stator is installed and I run the spin cycle, the washer fills and
1) either rotates in one direction for 2-3 spins and stops then the clicking returns and the tub rocks as if trying to spin but can't turn
2) or..after the tub fills, you hear the clicking and you can see the tub rock as if trying to spin
Nothing is on the magnets. As for the stator, it looks fine to me but maybe something is wrong
When I hear the clicking and see the direction the tub is trying to turn, I can rotate the tub in that direction and usually it will start to spin..... but only a few rotations
I truly have appreciated your time and help. My wife called a Samsung tech to come Wednesday. I was told to accept defeat

I thought that I would bring you up to speed on the washer. The Samsung repair tech said that my circuit board was bad. He attempted to run some test cycles and the machine did not respond.
A New board has been ordered.... hopefully, that will resolve my issue
Thanks
