My main oven overheats during the preheat period when baking. Example: if I set the oven to 370, the oven will beep at 370 after 16 minutes, but my digital thermometer will be at 507 degrees. Eventually the oven will cool down to 380 degrees (after another 25 minutes has elapsed) and then fluctuate between 380 and 404 degrees. I replaced the temperature probe and nothing changed. So I think its the main relay board. Anyone know the detailed directions for replacing the board? Is it accessed from the front panel where the burner controls are? Or is it done by removing the side panel of the range? Thanks

I do not think the relay board will fix this problem. Temperature controls for preheating and/or cooking by the range electronic control board which reads the oven sensor resistance and operates with the relays. Most likely the range control board is the culprit.
Unfortunately, this part is no longer available. You can try to search for an online store who can repair it. Otherwise, I'm afraid it's a time for a new range.
