We have notice small stains, about the size of a dime on our darker, cotton clothes after drying. It looks like the clothes are wet when the rest of the clothes are dry, like a food stain or oil stain. the stain doesn't have any color just darker of the color cloth. There doesn't appear to be anything in the dryer, could it be something melting onto the clothes, a belt, something?

Check if the drum is clean inside.
Check if there are no gaps at the front and/or rear drum seals.
For more accurate advise I need the complete model number of the dryer.
Gene.

Klackey, I think you will find the problem is from the felt type washer in the back of the dryer. It gets accumulated dust on it and then as clothes are tossed in the following dryer cycles, the dirt / grime comes off on the cloths.
I suggest first vacuming around the washer to suck up any loose dust before taking a wet towell or small rag and rubbing off the gunk on the belt. You will need to repeat it several times before it gets clean enough to solve your problem.
If that doesn't work then you may need to order and install the new part.
