GE Microwave Start and Quick Start Buttons Don't Work.

Symptoms:
1.Microwave Oven light on even when door closed.
2.Start, One Touch and Express Cook buttons don't work.
3.All other buttons work...Clock, Power Level, Time Cook, Time Defrost...
...except that Start will not work after setting everything else.
Primary switch and all other switches test OK.
Any ideas how to fix?

Fixed. New Primary Switch was not seating properly. All switches fit very tight and are a pain to take out and replace. Broke 2 securing tabs on original plastic lock that holds all switches and had to get a new one. Not expensive thankfully.
Since Primary Switch was not fully seated, the microwave thought the door was open. Hence light was on and power buttons would not work.
Glad this is over.
