My LG side by side trips the GFI as soon as I plug it in. It does the same on a different circuit. I unplugged an 11 pin plug from main circuit board that has just 4 wires.
BK feeds DISP HEATER BN feeds DEF HEATER and FUSE (melting 72 C) PR goes to other side of FUSE above BL(N) goes to other side of DISP HEATER and othe components on the circuit board(guessing its a common)
My water dispenser stopped working when I unplugged the plug, but I noticed on schematic that the PR line goes to the water solenoids. I dis connected at the selonoids and it still tripped.
What is a DISP HEATER? Need help to buy and change the right part. Oh, when I unplug this plug above, unit runs properly but not sure if I should continue to run the refrigerator.

Anyone having the same problem of tripping? Try what I did. I opened main circuit board and unplugged connector with the 4 wires controlling Defroster. It stopped tripping.
Now I had to figure out if iot was Defroster or the Sensors (controller). I removed evrything from freezer, removed top rails of drwers, fan assembly and back panel to freezer. Easy peasy, couple of screws and they all snap out. On top cieling of freezer unplug fan, unplug defrost heater (has 2 wires) and unplug controller (4 wires, 2from fuse and 2 from temp senser). Now plug in the plug in main circuit and it did not trip. Now I plugged back the defroster and it did not trip. I plugged in the controller and it tripped. I just ordered the part. Defrost Sensor Controller
