Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/18/2008(UTC) Posts: 2		My dishwasher has been leaking everywhere, I can't see any problem with the seal but I can't figure out what could be wrong with it. There is no seal on the bottom of the door of the dishwasher but I don't know if that is normal.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/20/2008(UTC) Posts: 3		I am having the same problem. Mine appears to be a problem with the seal, as there is soapy residue on the exterior of the the seal on the inside of the door (where water should get to). Only, I don't know how to fix it...

Start the dishwasher, wait about 30 sec and open the door. You should see suds inside. Gene.

If there are any marks - replace the latch. - The part number for the latch kit is AP3130817 Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dishwasher Model GU940SCGT3 Gene.
