My Maytag range model # MES5875BAB Shuts off after about 15 of reaching cooking temp. Oven will also not compete a cleaning cycle. When it shuts off it beeps two times and the bake indicator will flash till the cancel button is pushed. The oven light will also not work. After the oven has cooled, I am able to reset the temperature and restart the oven but it repeats problem as stated above. All controls seem to work fine. I have changed the oven temperature sensor with no change. I have also tried shutting off the power to the range to try to reset it, but still no change. I suspect the problem is the Hi-Limit switch, but do not know what specifications to test it to. If anyone has any other ideas what the problem might be any help is much appreciated.

In order to proper diagnose the problem, you would need to recall the error diagnostic codes by entering the Diagnostic Code Display Mode. Diagnostic Code Display Mode can be activated by pressing and holding the AUTOSET pad for 3 to 5 seconds at power-up. Diagnostic Code Display Mode can only be started while powering up the control. Each error code is four characters long. Post the error code(s) and we will proceed with further diagnosis.

Both of these error codes point to a problem with the oven temperature sensor. The second error code means "sensor open".
I would recommend to check the sensor for continuity at the control board connector. Do not forget to remove the power from the range.
Post the results.

I don't think this problem is connected to the hi-limit switch. More likely there is something wrong with the control board. This part is expensive. APP price is $474.29 and the part is on back order. The electronic control board Part number: AP6009752
