Icemaker has water in tray, but not frozen. Icemaker about 2 yrs. old. Replacing icemaker is easy, but want to make sure this will fix the problem. Could not find any info on line about this particular issue, but did find one post about soft ice, which recommended replacing the ice maker sensor. Is this part of the ice maker assembly or a separate part?
Freezer temp. -2, refrig temp 34. Have tried reset button, no help.
Icemaker is in a small separate compartment in the upper left of the refrigerator section.
