Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/18/2017(UTC) Posts: 1		I have an Amana washer that agitates fine but makes squealing noises and in spin cycle it turns maybe 1 or 2 revolutions and binds up and loads the motor down to where it will not spin it. Where do I start to get this problem fixed. Burnt through motor pulley and belt already and replaced those items already.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/31/2009(UTC) Posts: 18		The water pump on these models commonly goes bad and causes the symptoms you described. There is a shim that the pulley on the pump throws up against the base of the pump, which causes enough drag to stop the machine from being able to spin.
