The front left burner has something going on with the igniter--it doesn't work. We have gas, and have been lighting it with a lighter, but I got in there to try to fix it and have now been driven mad.

So far, I've replaced the Spark re-igniter, the simmer controller, and have switched the potentiometers, and of course switched the igniters and wiring, none of which has fixed the problem. The griddle also doesn't light, but everything else works. (I don't really care about the griddle, I never use it, but ideally it would work correctly.)

What's next?

Also, is there a way to take the front control panel off the stove? It's such a pain to work in there with it in place, but I'm not seeing an obvious way to remove it.

I told my husband I'm about to drill a hole through the side of this bastard and put a $5 gas grill sparky thing on the front. :D

Thank you in advance to anyone who might be able to help.
