Water keeps dripping from collar bearing onto the transmission. I have replaced the tub seal twice and the collar bearing once. Not sure why it still keeps doing this. I wiped down the trans shaft prior to re-assembly. I did not see any noticeable cracks in the tub when I had it removed. Is there a sealant that i should be applying to the outer ring of the seal? I applied dishwashing soap as recommended in the DIY videos. This has been a bit of a hassle, in that I had to drill and cut out the seized tub nut to begin with. I do not believe that i damaged anything while removing the collar bearing. However, I should admit that the inside face of the plastic in the sleeve area was a bit rough. But, water should not even be in that area to begin with. There is definitely water under the tub seal after removal. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
