I have a Kenmore refrigerator that stopped dispensing water and making ice. I figured that water filter required replacement. Replaced water filter and still same problem. The kicker is that when I remove the water filter, the water dispenses water and the ice maker will make ice. Question, is there a bypass valve in the water filter housing and if so is there a way to troubleshoot, repair or do I need to replace the water filter housing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
