Hello, I just replaced the lid switch which was physically broken. I didn't check to see if the machine was plugged in and commence disassembling the old switch and shorted it. (Didn't expect my wife to plug it back in).🙄 The switch is in the locked position and will now fill but will not start the agitate cycle. Can I still bypass the switch at this point? What would you recommend?

Hello,
I seem to be having this problem too. Did you ever find a solution?
Thank you.
