I have a frigidaire icemaker in model PLHS67EESB9 that is very inconsistent at making ice. Sometimes it will make ice well for a few days, then it will get stuck with the ejection fingers frozen into the cubes. It's like it gets stuck and cannot get the ice to pop out of the basket. If I thaw it a bit and then push the ice out it starts making ice again and might be OK for a few cycles. But it just keeps happening and is very frustrating. Any thoughts how I might repair this? Or am I better to just get a new icemaker. They look to be less than $100.

Thanks,

Chad

Any assistance here would be appreciated. I'm ok with replacing the whole icemaker, if that's what's necessary, but wonder if there is an alternative.

Thanks in advance.
