Last spin leaving heavy loads still with some water in clothes. I checked pump and hoses they are all clear. I was wondering if the hose from pump
to back of washer is there a check valve in this hose to keep water from
comming back into the pump. Water drains very fast after washes so I think the pump is working fine. Still having a problem on last spin leaving clothes not completely free of some water. Would backup water into the pump cause this. Please help! Mel  could you give me feedback on my email at djmarcel@mchsi.com

I hope the experts don't think this is a repeat of problems and not answer.
I went through 25 pages trying to find an answer to this with no luck. So
if someone could help me I would send a million thanks. Number one, Thanks

How does it spin?

Remove the front panel and check the belt.

Gene, the pump does not work from a belt, It has it's own motor. and It is running all the time it is in the spin. You didn't answer my question on is there a check valve in the drain hose from the pump to back of washer and could this have something to do with it not spindrying like it should. On have loads I still feel some wetness in the load

Did I say anything about the pump?

If the washer does not spin or it does, but not on the full speed, then the load will be definitely wet.

Sorry Gene, The spin is very fast and it spins for a long time. When it is in spin once there is a short spray of water just for a couple seconds and then it continues to spin. Could you answer if there is a check valve in the hose that stops the water from coming back into the pump? Thanks for your time

I do not think there is a check valve in the drain hose.

How high is the drain inlet above the floor?

How deep the drain hose is going into the inlet?

The drain is at the top of washer and the hose goes in about 6 inches. I had the drain removed from pump to back of washer and ran some water into it and the water would go one way but it seemed to have restriction going the other way that's why I thought maybe there was a checkvalve built into the tube. I can't seem to find anyplace that shows the inside of the tube. Here on line it shows the pipe from pump to back of washer. I saw it in the RCA model YBXR1060V1WW parts page

Try to loop the drain hose at the drain inlet, so it will go 5-7 inches above the washer.
