We recently purchased the upper and lower replacement racks for the above dishwasher from your company. The part number of the upper rack is GEH WD28X10220. We have installed the lower rack into the dishwasher, but cannot figure out how the upper rack should be installed into the rack slide which is in the dishwasher. It looks like the rack slide end caps need to be removed, the old rack pulled out, the new rack put in, and the end caps reinstalled on the ends of the racks. Is this correct? If so, how do you remove the end caps? We can't seem to get them off the ends of the rack slides.
We sent an email to you about a month ago, but have gotten no response.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am replacing both top and bottom dishwasher racks in my Maytag dishwasher due to rusty racks. I too am having trouble getting the white end caps off the old top rack so that I can slide the new rack in and then put those end caps back in place. Can you tell me how to get these end caps off? Thank you for any assistance you can give me. Thanks, Linda

Hello,
This is nice, but we are still confused.....
What is the answer to our problem? Is it on this page and we are missing it???? I don't see a solution to the installation of the rack.

HELP!

this is in response to a post that is a year and a half old, not to good for them but may help someone down the road. check the end caps closely. they all snap into place. on a latemodel kenmore/whirlpool there is a pad on the front that you push which unlatches the cap for removal. when installing the latch lip is on the outside, push cap clip over this lip it will snap in place.
