I noticed on day there was a dryer bearing slide sticking out into the dryer drum. I have replaced all 4 slides. Everything was good for a week then the same bearing slide came loose again. I am thinking I need to replace the entire bearing that they attach to, but am wondering if I need or should replace the felt seal too. Any other thoughts on this would be appreciated. I want to make sure I fix the problem once an for all.

GE dryers are known for eating their slides/glides. Often they actually eat the plastic part and ruin the felt seal too.

If the plastic part has damage on top its probably time to replace it. Also check your drum for wear and make sure it doesn't have any sharp edges. It can get worn down too.

If necessary you could put a drop of glue under a glide to keep it in place. But they work best when they are free to move a little.

If the seal has a any damage, replace it.
