I noticed all my ice in my freezer was melted and my refrigerator was getting warm. I took all the food out of the freezer and removed the back false wall and saw the coils all frozen over. Next I got a hold a hair dryer and defrosted the freezer manually. When I looked at the defrost heater, it looked kind of grayish and it was obviously blown so I got a hold of a new one and a defrost thermometer and replaced them. Unfortunately, I still seem to have the same problem since my freezer and fridge still have not cooled off.
In the process of installing my new parts I noticed that the evaporator fan was not working nor would the water dispenser work. It seems like I may have a main control board problem, but I wondered if anyone could give me an opinion to help me to decide what to do now.
Thanks a lot in advance, Mike

I also noticed that I can hear a clicking noise if I try to get water from the front water dispenser...so something is happening. I also get a very small trace of water...barely a drip.

I ended up buying a new main board and installing it. Immediately, my evaporator fan started running and in about 90 minutes or so my freezer was at zero degrees. In about the same time the water dispenser started to work...the problem must have been that somewhere in the lines the water had frozen over. If you can buy the board second hand do so...it should be about half the price.
I hope that helps somebody!
