Our dryer will turn itself back on after pushing the off button. I have to turn the breaker off in order to turn the dryer off. It will also go to the sensor dry cycle by itself no matter what type of drying cycle is selected. (time dry, wrinkle release, air fluff, etc) I replaced the circuit board in the control panel thinking this was all it could be. No luck. Still doing what it wants. It dries the clothes fine, but will not stop or go into the cool down mode when the clothes are dry. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Here is a manual which may help http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16023110.pdfTry to run the diagnostics. This is going to be a shot in the dark as like you I would have though the control board was the problem. I am assuming that this unit used to work correctly at this location. Clean your sensor bars with isopropyl alcohol. Check that earth ground is connected correctly as I see they have a separate earth ground going to the board. Hopefully someone else will have some more concrete help. |

I have one doing the same thing. Replaced timer but still goes round and round thru drying cycles turning on and off by itself. Anyone have schematics to see what turns the power off to the timer?
