The timer on my dryer just started spinning and would not turn the dryer on so we looked and the plastic piece was cracked so we started to use pliers to turn the little shaft piece and it worked for a while but now the piece just broke and I can't turn it and I have clothes to dry. Please Help!! Anything I can do now to get it On?

Are you talking about this part? The shaft sticking out of the timer?

If you are, its part of the timer. You are probably going to need the timer knob too.
