Fridge would shut off if you opened or closed doors hard. Ice in bottom of freezer. Took apart and thawed out frozen drain replaced thermistor now fridge won't cycle just keeps running and you have to keep checking the temps on the digital display. We ordered the part maytag gave us. We live off grid and can't get a tec out here with road conditions this time of year. Help please!

You replaced the thermistor and now the fridge runs all the time? Is food freezing, does it get too cold? "We ordered the part maytag gave us."?? Are you talking about the part you replaced? Or did you order something else?
