My wife was using the oven when she heard a loud pop. The bake element immediately went off and the house lights flickered. The stove breaker did not trip.

Upon inspecting the stove I found the surface elements and clock still working and the bake element intact. When I removed the rear panel I found the red bake/broil lead had burned off at the slide-on connector for the bake element and obviously caused the short.

My questions are:
1. Is there anything else beside a bad wire I should be looking for?
2. What is the part I should get to replace the bad lead? It is a single connector at the terminal block and branches into to slide-on leads that go to the bake and broil elements.

Thank you,

Chris
