Hello all,

My dishwasher was started last night and when we got up today the display was reading 30 as in 30 min left and sounded like it was just draining still. Tub is dry as a bone. Shut off power to the unit and when powered back up it just resumes daining, nothing changes. If i open the door it continues to drain uninterrupted. Usually if the door is opened it stops running.

Any ideas where to start?
Thanks, Phil

I did notice that the 30 on the display is actually a code i30. As in the float in the bottom pan is being tripped. I removed the door panel and i can see water coming in from the bottom corners. I replaced the door seal alongvthevsides and top and it still leaks. Maybe its the bottom seal?

I have a question tho, how much water should be in the tub during a wash cycle, if any? There is some standing water if i open the door while it leaks. Im not sure if this is normal. It drains fine tho when it alarms

I just had this issue. Turns out there is a float switch at the bottom of the dishwasher to detect if there is a water leak.
You have to pull the dishwasher out and look in the very bottom pan. If there is water then there is a leak somewhere. If no water could be a bad float switch.
