My tenant used the self cleaning oven feature and now the oven doesn't work.
The display is totally dead. The oven light doesn't go on when door is open. I checked the oven bulb and it looks fine. I checked wires at back and I get 120volts so the unit is getting power.
I have a little multi-meter but not sure what to test to troubleshoot further.
I suspect that the mother board is fried but don't want to buy one in the event that there is some other possible explanation (fuse/reset button/etc).
I was able to remove the cover below the control panel to access wiring harnesses as they plug into mother board.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

There is a thermal circuit breaker on or near the control board. Its on the hot line 1, BK-6. I'd start there. Most of the ones I've seen are one use only. It gets too hot and opens. No more power to the control.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am not an expert in wiring diagrams but it seems clear that if that breaker tripped, I'd have no control panel nor oven lights. Being a novice, assuming I can locate it, how can I test if it tripped? If I could jump it, at least temporarily, that would confirm that I need a new board.
