My son had purchased two samsung kitchen applicances about 5 years ago. The first to go was the microwave. The price of the control board (suspect harness connector) was almost as much as a new unit.

Second (recent) is the refrigerator which has a harness error (PC ER) Plenty of info on how to reset the control board and I hope this works for him!! However, I'm worried that if this error does not reset, even after the harness has been unplugged/replugged, then what?

Another control board, or harness? What a joke! Perhaps if samsung gets enough complaints about 'nuisance' faults with their appliances they will either pay more attention to their hardware components, e.g., harnesses, connectors etc. OR open up the acceptance bandwidth??
