The bulb for our dryer stopped working. That is normal. I found where it is located but there is a secret for getting to the bulb. I think the assembly is Frigidaire 131843500 Asmy-Lamp. I found instructions somewhere saying to push the clip up. Well I am not sure what direction is up for them but I have tried everything and I can't get it open. I think the picture is upside down from what it really is so the clip is probably at the top of the assembly in the picture; it is at the bottom I think for us. Otherwise, the picture appears correct but I sure can't get anything to move. If someone with experience with those can confirm that it is just a matter of pushing the clip up then I will try harder.

The trick is to pull the cover off while pushing the tab up.

Then the next step is to unscrew the bulb. Yes, it screws. But then screwing another in is a hassle since the space is tight. My guess is that an experienced repair person would unplug the dryer and remove the entire assembly just to replace the bulb.
