Hello to the forum,

SO I just moved into a new house about a month ago and we made our way to the basement and found and old 12cu ft chest freezer waiting down there for us. Ive spent the last two hours trying to find any pertinent information on the brand/model and the only thing that really poped is from old newspaper ads from the 40's and 50's. While those were cool to look at I'm still trying to find out more on the specs and general information like how many of this model were manufactured, and if philco even still replies back to questions about such dated models.

Restoration is not out of the question especially if a little money can be made selling this freezer.

Anyways heres the info and pic.....

Model: GH122
Serial # 2JB106971
Style: RB

So I'll leave at that for now. I hope to you all about this cool vintage item.

I have the same freezer and acquired it the same way. Any luck finding parts? I need a compressor for mine.
