Hey ! I just ordered and received a thermostat (part number AP4247470) , for my Amana freezer , sadly my husband is working late nights so it's up to me to replace . It has a wiring harness , so I'm curious , is there any diagrams , written instructions or schematics out there I can refer to , as the video shown by repair.com is for a simple 2 wire thermostat using different wire connectors . I would also like to make sure I'm replacing the wires in the correct spots . Thank you so much !

The part no. you gave is for a defrost thermostat. This part has only two wires connected to it, the orange and the brown. If you have to, you can just cut the two original wires and wire-nut the two new ones on.

Before you do anything watch this video.
