The top of the freezer compartment cycles between 10 degrees and 50. Ice cubes partially melt and then refreeze. Recently corrected an icing problem due to clogged condensate drain. Could my ADC be running the defrost cycle too long or would the problem be with the defrost thermostat?

Also just checked freezer at 50 degrees - compressor housing quite warm. 130 according to infrared thermometer reading. Compressor cooling fan is running.
