Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/7/2016(UTC) Posts: 2		I have a Whirlpool portable dishwasher WDP350PAAB4 where the heating element had cracked. I replaced the element and it is not heating the water. I have continuity through the element and about 18 Ohms resistance. If I test the voltage at the leads with the DW running and on heat mode, it's only reading about 2.0 Volts.

Wires go right back to control board on the door. No damage to wires. There is a thermostat under the tub. Any idea what that controls? and would that interfere with the element working?
