GE GHWN4250D0WW WASHER. My inlet valves are less than a year old and are NOT blocked. Both HOT and COLD water inlets seem to be working well and are strong. PROBLEM: When I set my water temperature to HOT, I get hot water when the lid is open but when I close the lid the water temperature turns to cold. Consequently, I end up with a tube of cold water when it is set to HOT. The WARM setting seems to work but the water is not that warm. The other temperature settings seem to work properly. I've simulated the lid closing by using a large magnet on the lid switch. I can see the water temp changes that GE has incorporated for the lid being opened and closed (hot water safety reasons). My problem seems to be in reverse, HOT with lid open and COLD when closed. Could the problem be a sensor of some sort. THANKS!
