Can somebody out there please help me? My dryer won't start and I can't seem to find my thermal fuse, I thought that it is on the lower left hand side on the back with the cover removed. Isn't it a white thing with 1 screw? Somebody please help me!

I don't think your dryer has a t-fuse. Isn't it over 30 years old?
If the motor is not starting it could be the door switch, start switch, the motor or the timer. Or any of the wiring in between. Start small and work your way through it.

Well now I know why I can't find it, thank you! This dryer is about 30 yrs old. Next question: this dryer has 3 wires going to the start switch how do I test it (I have very little knowledge of electrical things, but I do have a digital multi tester, although I don't know how to use it) Thanks, Doug
