I have a Frigidaire upright freezer. It is keeping cold just fine. The problem is that underneath it is a drain cup and it is filling up with water fast and overflowing.
I have gone under and drained it 3 times after sopping up water on my floors. This is all very recent. Roughly overflowing every two weeks. I've had to stuff the cup with rags to collect the water, remove squeeze and redo until all the water is out of the cup. Two weeks later repeat the process.
What could be causing this to occur? It is 100% coming from the overflowing cup. The freezer is working well and keeping everything frozen. I read somewhere an air compressor is to warm the water to evaporate. If the problem is the compressor would I not see other issues?
Thanks
