Whirpoolwasher doesn't complete a full cycle. Stops at drain/spin and smell of over heated motor. Sometime trips the circuit breaker. If you push the knob down and come back in an hour it usually starts to drain and spin. It may complete the drain/spin. If not shut it off and come back in an hour. Usually then completes drain/spin and continues until finished or comes to another drain/spin.
What are the likely causes for this? Thanks for listening
