We've had an intermittent problem with our washer that finally became chronic. Water trickles into the tub rather than pouring in. This occurs on both the wash and rinse.

Initially the problem was only on the cold side. Now it's on both hot and cold. Cycling the water temp occasionally causes the hot to briefly flow, then return to trickles.

Is this a good indicator that water inlet valve needs replacement?

Thanks,
Fran
