Hi !

Every time I use my dryer, some pieces of clothes gets stucked in the front part of the dryer. It makes little holes and there is sometimes grease on the clothes. It's an old dryer but still very good. Is there anything we can do ? I have included 4 pictures and circled the 2 "places" where the clothes hang.

Thanks in advance for any help

Your model no. won't work.

Most GE dryers have 2 to 4 glides on that plastic part in your picture. The glides support the front end of the dryer's drum.

I've seen ones were the glides and a bunch of the plastic are all worn away. This leaves sharp edges and can leave black marks on the clothes. It can also grind away the front edge of the drum, making sharp and unusable.

Watch the video on this page. This probably isn't quite the same dryer as yours. But you'll get the idea.
