My KitchenAid dishwasher is about 15 years old and works great, but the door frame is broken. The arm that attaches to the door spring is cracked. I see that I can buy another frame for about $50, but wonder if this is a DIY project or not. It looks like there's a ton of parts to fit together according to just the parts schematic. Any recommendations?

Its pretty involved. You have take everything off the door and then put it back on the new door frame. And then make sure it doesn't leak. Probably not worth doing on a 15 year old dishwasher.
