I found a used gas dryer. It would not start without turning the drum to get it going. I replaced the motor with new. The first time it started OK. [ turn timer to a setting then push the start button. ] Now when you turn the dial to a setting it immediately starts to hum (or will try to start). If you turn the drum it runs fine. Also I took off the back cover and the buzzer is unhooked if you plug it back in it continues to buzz until you open the door, but will start buzzing again if you close the door. I am thinking it is the timer?
