Our ice bucket freezes up at the bottom, in the rotating part and down into the ice shoot. So far we have replaced the ice maker tray, the flapper on the discharge shoot and the water inlet valve.

Have just recently ordered (not yet replaced) an entire ice bucket, ice motor auger, seal and cover because they are broken from frequently needing to pull the ice bucket off the door as they are always frozen to each other.

Freezer temperature is negative 5 degrees when set on cold setting, opposite of coldest. Fridge maintains normal temperature on normal setting.

Is negative 5 degrees to cold for a freezer?
Is that why ice freezes together?
Is there some other part I should replace or repair?
