Have a 10 year old GE profile PDS 22SISBL refrigerator that is showing erratic behavior in maintaining freezer temperatures.
I set the bottom freezer to 0 and it maintains it for several hours but the next morning it rises to 34.
I press the turbocool button and it is not responding.
I checked the rear coils and they were clean. The fan seems to be spinning freely.
I also checked the freezer coils behind the bottom rear panel. The fan was running freely and the coils had no frost on them.
I do not know what further can be checked, and am now wondering whether the control board may need replacing.
Any suggestions or opinions as to what the likely problem might be?? Thanks for your help
