Cycle will start to auto-sense (?) then lid unlocks. Cycle appears to try to restart and then lid locks and indicator flashes. Won't unlock unless unplugging power. Replaced actuator AND lid lock mechanism. Still same thing. Have run diagnostics as indicated in service manual and cannot find ANYTHING wrong. Ran calibration mode also. Lid lock still an issue. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

On these vertical modular style washers the lid lock indicator flashing doesn't always indicate a lock mechanism issue. Actually it will flash anytime there is a problem with the washer. A little sleuth work is in order for you. Did you say you've replaced the shift actuator? Also when you ran the diagnostic test did the unit agitate and spin? Have you tried the manual test mode? If so did you see and hear each of the tests perform properly?

Yes, replaced shift actuator. Yes, unit agitated and spun during diagnostic test. Manual test was fine - everything worked as it should or seemed so to me. It "tests" fine - but when you try to run it the lid lock error occurs. We couldn't wait so we bought a new washer and dryer. Will sell the old dryer and give washer away. What a ridiculous error code.
