Hi
last week I noticed that both ref and freezer were not cold enough anymore.
(Before the thermostat controls were set on medium and the temperatures inside were what it was suppose to be)
So I gradually started cranking up the thermostat controls. Now the controls are on max and the temp in the freezer is -6/-4 and +36+38F which is what it needs to be, but the compressor is running constantly now.
Any idea what might has happened that caused this change? And how to fix it?
Thanks

Hi Umbaya, did you check to see if you have ice built up on your coils that cool the fridge down or if your thermoster has ice built up around it. The coils being blocked would prevent the fridge from running efficiently which is why it has to work harder to keep the fridge cool?

Keep me posted as I have a similar problem as you.

Hi Tadrian2, I tried to lower the thermostat setting on the freezer today, but the thermostat weel wouldn't move. Maybe it is frozen.
Have to check tomorrow. WKUP
