After numerous freeze ups due to a blocked drain line, the ice eventually pushed on the refrigerator evaporator capillary tube until it leaked out all the coolant. One repair tech looked at it and said there was no way he could repair it, the fridge was not repairable and I should dispose of it.

What I would like to know is can this capillary tube be repaired / replaced or is this fridge nothing more than garbage? The fridge is only 5.5 years old and I'd hate to just have to throw it out. :(

Thank you!
