My Thermador PRG484ECG gas broiler in the small over is not igniting. The igniter glows but the burner never lights. After reading a bunch of stuff it seems that a weak igniter is the usual problem, so I replaced it. It was a Norton 501A that I replaced witha WB2X998. After replacement it still has the same problem. The igniter glows (brighter than before) but the burner never ignites. I do get a wif of gas but I don't get the characteristic click before the burner ignites.

Is there something else I can test to determine the problem or could the new part I used also be defective? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
