I'm converting a Kenmore top-bottom refrigerator to a keg fridge. I need to drill a 1" hole in the side of the refrigerator to run my beer lines through to a tap, but I'm afraid of hitting a coolant line. Are my worries valid?

thanx,

shane

Hi Shane,

Good idea! I like it!

On which side and how far from the rear panel of the fridge you need this hole?

Gene.

If you're facing the front of the fridge, I want to drill a hole on the right side. The location on the right side really doesn't matter to me as long as I don't hit a line. I was thinking about 18" from the back, and about 14" high. Think that will be ok? Thanks for the help.

Shane,

You can do it.

At this location it's not going to create any problems.

Similar question for 363.9762821, though I'm looking closer to the front on the right side. Help?

I do no think there is anything on your way at this location. Good luck.

I want to drill a hole in the left side of a Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator GB2FHDXWQ for a beer tap.

Are there any lines on the left side about 50 inches above the floor and 16 inches from the back?

I looked at the parts diagram but am still cautious. It is a bottom mount freezer.

Thanks
