The ice maker in our whirlpool side by side fridge started leaking today and about this same time it stopped dispensing ice. It continues to make ice fine, we hit the actuator and the flap opens, I hear what sounds like the motor attempt to turn the auger, but no auger motion. So, I opened the door up, and found ice around the auger spindle coming out of the motor as well as a bunch of water and ice in the well where the motor sits. • Check the motor for continuity/resistance & or the wiring harness for the correct voltage
  • Try and figure out why we had the leak in the first place so I can prevent this from happening again.

The motor has 4 pins in a configuration like this: A - B C - - D where the letters represent the pins and the dashes are the holes without pins. It is Whirlpool model W10225313 manufactured by Leshi Leili
    Any ideas?
