I have a 36" Kitchenaid bottom mount built in refrigerator (model #KBRS36MHW01). For the past two weeks I noticed the ice maker (replaced 2 months ago) was not making ice as quickly as usual - refrigerator seemed fine. Cleaned the coils and turned the freezer temp down to 4 from 3. Seemed like it was doing better. Went out of town for 3 days and when I returned the food in the freezer was partially defrosted. The refrigerator seemed a little warmer and after turning it down to max cold it is holding at 45 degrees.

I'd prefer to fix it rather than replacing it - a replacement would be expensive and a pain to fit in.

Any ideas?

UPDATE: This morning the refrigerator is at 35 degrees and the freezer is at 15 degrees. Both are set at cold max.
